I started crafting precision spinning tops in January of 2014 on a small Southbend metal lathe and fell in love with machining.
In 2016 I purchased a Mazak CNC Lathe and began machining a larger variety of products to include flashlights as a collaboration with Mitch Lum under the Laulima Metal Craft brand and as of December 2023, under the Dawson Machine Craft brand.
I personally machine, finish, and assemble all flashlights in my Missouri shop with pocket clips and light engines built by Mitch in Oregon.
I personally craft all other machined items bearing my name.
